Bullis Summer Programs

Wilderness & Adventure Camp

Ropes courses, hiking, and scavenger hunts, oh my! Get ready to explore the great outdoors through a combination of wilderness adventures, orienteering, and team-building games that instill confidence, friendship, and a love for the outdoors. Campers learn the fundamentals of hiking using trail maps, compasses, and how to use natural boundaries as a guide. Outdoor fun includes scavenger hunts, wilderness capture the flag, rock walls, ropes courses and geocaching. Campers also get a chance to cool down with water adventures at a local waterpark and swimming at a local pool. The camp session ends with a visit to Sandy Spring Adventure Park, the largest aerial forest adventure park in North America, where campers experience zip lines, climbing and obstacles.

Director: Heather Patterson is the varsity softball coach and assistant basketball coach at Bullis, as well as a professional fastpitch softball/pitching instructor.
