Bullis Summer Programs

Black and White Film Photography

Learn the basics of traditional photography to understand the fundamentals of this art form. Not only do campers study the techniques of 35 mm film photography, they also discover the beauty and complexity within black and white images. Campers learn how to develop and print photographs from negatives using the dark room and create their own pinhole cameras. Set the digital camera aside and uncover a love for black and white photography this summer!

Instructor: Returning instructor, Reginald Pearman, is a Pulizer Prize-winning photographer who has worked for The Washington Post, National Geographic, The Associated Press, Time magazine and The New York Times (www.rpportraits.com).
