“The Bullis Camp experience was fantastic! Our seven-year-old daughter could not wait to go to camp every morning! She just loved the entire experience!”

BULLDOG CAMPS SCHEDULE

Bulldog Day Camp

For more than a decade, Bulldog Day Camp has provided exciting, summer experiences for campers with a wonderful variety of daily activities. This popular program offers campers a nurturing and stimulating environment where they run, play, paint, swim, sing, laugh and make lifelong friends. Activities include sports and recreation, arts and crafts, field trips and special theme days such as Tie-Dye Tuesday, Carnival Day or Bulldog Olympics.

Each week, campers enjoy an exciting field trip, such as visiting the National Zoo, viewing an IMAX film at the Air & Space Museum, picking blueberries at Butler’s Orchard or going paddle boating on Lake Needwood. Also, three times a week, campers splash and swim at the Rockville Aquatic Center.

Our excellent staff of enthusiastic counselors and the low staff-to-camper ratio ensures that every camper’s needs are met.

Campers can enroll for as many one-week sessions as you’d like, and each week features a different field trip and new activities and games. Campers have so much fun, many return to Bulldog week after week, year after year!

Bulldog Day Camp Jr.

Bulldog Day Camp Jr. allows campers ages 3½ to 5 to take part in the Bulldog experience! A fun and engaging camp, Bulldog Day Camp Jr. offers a nurturing and educational adventure for the youngest campers. This camp blends age-appropriate Bulldog activities such as Tie-Dye Tuesday and Carnival Day with arts and crafts, games and more.

Bulldog Jr. introduces campers to the typical day-camp environment in half- or full-day sessions, while giving them time to grow into Bulldog Day Camp and its off-campus adventures. The low staff-to-camper ratio ensures that the smallest of campers get the attention and support they need to have a blast this summer!

Bulldog Day Camp Jr. remains on the Bullis campus, opting out of Bulldog Day Camp’s weekly field trips and pool visits.

Director: Laura Heninger served as Assistant Director for Bulldog Day Camp in 2012 and Director in 2013. She also teaches English in the Upper School.

“I had to send my daughter to extra weeks of camp and aftercare because she loved it so much. Thanks for a great summer!”
