BULLDOG CAMPS SCHEDULE
Bulldog Day Camp
For more than a decade, Bulldog Day Camp has provided
exciting, summer experiences for campers with a wonderful
variety of daily activities. This popular program offers
campers a nurturing and stimulating environment where they
run, play, paint, swim, sing, laugh and make lifelong friends.
Activities include sports and recreation, arts and crafts,
field trips and special theme days such as Tie-Dye Tuesday,
Carnival Day or Bulldog Olympics.
Each week, campers enjoy an exciting field trip, such as
visiting the National Zoo, viewing an IMAX film at the Air &
Space Museum, picking blueberries at Butler’s Orchard or
going paddle boating on Lake Needwood. Also, three times
a week, campers splash and swim at the Rockville Aquatic

like, and each week features a different field trip and new
activities and games. Campers have so much fun, many return
to Bulldog week after week, year after year!
Bulldog Day Camp Jr.
Bulldog Day Camp Jr. allows campers ages 3½ to
5 to take part in the Bulldog experience! A fun
and engaging camp, Bulldog Day Camp Jr. offers a
nurturing and educational adventure for the youngest
campers. This camp blends age-appropriate Bulldog
activities such as Tie-Dye Tuesday and Carnival Day
with arts and crafts, games and more.
Bulldog Jr. introduces campers to the typical day-camp
environment in half- or full-day sessions, while
giving them time to grow into Bulldog Day Camp and
its off-campus adventures. The low staff-to-camper
ratio ensures that the smallest of campers get the
attention and support they need to have a blast this
Bulldog Day Camp Jr. remains on the Bullis campus, opting out of Bulldog Day Camp’s weekly field trips and pool visits.
Director: Laura Heninger served as Assistant Director for Bulldog Day Camp in 2012 and Director in 2013. She also teaches English in the Upper School.
