Students create and edit several school publications.
Bullis Bulldog
The school newspaper, Bullis Bulldog, published several times each term. Upper School students manage the publication, while students in all grades are encouraged to become involved. The print edition focuses more on in-depth articles, and the new online paper complements it with regularly updated news, features, sports and opinions. The online edition also offers photo galleries and other multimedia elements in support of print stories. Read the online edition.
Roll Call
Roll Call is the Bullis School yearbook. It is managed by a committed staff of student editors, and invites all students interested in photography, layout and business to become involved. Learn more.
Logos
Logos is the Upper School journal of art and literature and is published annually. Submissions of poetry, prose and artwork are welcome from any student. A Middle School publication, Ethos, is faculty-managed and produced.
Middle School Un-Print
In a digital world, many of today’s newspapers are transitioning away from the paper product or adding digital components. The Bullis Middle School paper has done that as well. Instead of a paper product, students create videos and slide shows about school events, learning filming, editing, and sound techniques.
