Chess Class
Would you like to learn the game of kings?
Learn the rules and tactics of chess from a chess master! In this after-school class, you will study the rules and tactics of chess from National Chess Master Arkadiy Frenkel, who has coached state and national champions for over 30 years. This class, open to students of all levels.

Daily Schedule:
- Students registered for Chess Class will sign-in with the Extended Day Coordinator at the end of the school day.
- The Chess instructor will pick up the students from Extended Day at 4:00 p.m. after they have received a snack.
- At the end of class, the instructor will escort the students to the library where they will be signed in to Extended Day. (*Note: there will be no charge for Extended Day if students are picked up
- within 15 minutes).
- Parents must sign-out their child(ren) from the Library.

- Payment by Credit Card only. No refunds will be given unless class is canceled.
- Students picked up within 15 minutes of the class ending will not be charged for Extended Day.
- For those students requiring Extended Day after class, or those not picked up within 15 minutes of class ending, an Extended Day fee of $12.50/day will be charged. All Extended Day charges will be billed through Student Billing Accounts.
- Classes will not run on school holidays, early dismissals and other days in which Extended Day will not be offered.
Makeup days may be arranged with approval of the instructor.
Note: Students may try the class for free Monday, February 6. For those wishing to continue, full payment is required by February 13.
