Bulldog Committee:
Ilene Gordon
The Bulldog Committee supports and promotes school spirit and sportsmanship throughout the school year at Bullis athletic events and activities.
Community Service Committee:
Margy Abbott and Anne Slaughter-Andrews
The Community Service Committee provides planning and logistical support for the school’s community service programs. The committee works closely with Bullis’s community service director and each of the division heads to plan and carry out meaningful and age-appropriate activities. Past projects have included Books on Tape, Thanksgiving meals for needy families, sandwich making and home-building activities. This committee seeks to make community service a part of everyday life for Bullis families.
Diversity Committee:
Crystal Newman and Kelley Coble
The Diversity Committee recognizes and celebrates the diversity of the Bullis community through planning and participating in activities such as Global Village, and coordinating speakers and discussion programs on a variety of multicultural issues for parents and families.
Faculty and Staff Appreciation Committee:

The Faculty and Staff Appreciation Committee coordinates the annual faculty and staff appreciation days, organizes bi-monthly refreshments for faculty and staff in each campus building throughout the year and sponsors other activities designed to support the Bullis faculty and staff.
Fathers Committee:
Brad Tavel
The Fathers Committee creates activities and events for Bullis students and their fathers/significant males. The committee may also provides additional support to other Parents Association activities through its member base.
Fine Arts Committee:
Debbie Schick
The Fine Arts Committee promotes and supports cultural activities at Bullis in conjunction with the Visual and Performing Arts Department and the division heads. Past activities have included sponsoring musicians and storytellers and choral, theater and dance groups on campus. The committee also provides parent volunteer support to the Visual and Performing Arts Department for various student productions.
Gala Committee:
Lauri Zell and Franny Rock
The Gala Committee plans and manages Bullis’s largest annual fundraiser in partnership with the Bullis Development Office. Recent proceeds have supported faculty professional development and student financial aid.

Library Committee:

The Library Committee works in partnership with the Bullis staff to support the development and growth of the library for the benefit of the students. The committee organizes an annual book fair and provides volunteers as needed to assist the library staff throughout the year.
New Parents:

The New Parents Committee supports the administration during recruitment and enrollment times, and joins the administration in welcoming and orienting new families to the Bullis community.
Newsletter:
Amy Carroll
The newsletter editors is responsible for the publication of the monthly Bullis Parents Association newsletter. This is one of the primary communication tools used to impart information to Bullis families from the Parents Association.
Parent Council Representative:
Becky Lowenthal
Bullis School is one of fifty independent schools in the metropolitan area belonging to the Parents Council of Washington. Member schools appoint parent representatives to attend Council meetings. The Council strives to foster communication and share information among parents, students and school communities through its programs and publications.
Parent Education Committee:
Anne Choe
The Parent Education Committee helps to coordinate grade-level meetings to provide parents with the opportunity to become better acquainted and to discuss parenting, health and or social issues. The committee also plans school-wide speaker programs on current issues of interest to parents.
Parent Partnership:
Darina McKelvie
The Parent Partnership Committee organizes Bullis community programs focusing on encouraging healthy teen decisions, serves as the Bullis parent liaison to the Community of Concern and distributes and maintains the listing for the Safe Home Pledge Program.
Volunteers:

This committee is responsible for organizing and assigning volunteers for Parent Association and school events, as needed.
