Middle School Students Honored for Leading the Bullis Way
This year the Middle School has started a new tradition. It is awarding pins and saluting students who are leading the Bullis way and representing one or more of our school's core values.
Students are nominated by teachers for recognition and the first students to receive pins were honored during Homecoming Spirit Week. They are, from left to right:
Lauren S., 7th grade, who exemplified service by going above and beyond to help others clean a materials spill in art class
Sophia R., 6th grade, who exemplified service by helping Ms. Orr (without being asked) to prepare the daily whiteboard message
Teacher Chip West, who was nominated by Girls Athletic Director Kathleen Lloyd for exemplifying communication and respect by going the extra mile with the girls soccer program to ensure that his team has a completely positive experience
William D.F., 7th grade, who exemplified integrity by gently reminding classmates of the appropriate use of technology and helping to guide them back on task
Tabitha F., 7th grade, who exemplified service and responsibility by going above and beyond to help explain to her new-to-Bullis teammates about what to do when athletic teams had to shelter in place during some unexpected inclement weather.
