Lifers welcome K-2nd graders, continue tradition

Each year, Bullis Lifers continue a school tradition that has been maintained for years by leading the Acorn Ceremony.

Lifers—seniors who have attended Bullis for every grade in Lower, Middle & Upper School—welcome the newest and youngest students at the school. These new students will be the Lifers of their senior class, and to honor that occasion, the Lifers present the newest students with an acorn, a symbol of the growth and maturation that occurs during their years at Bullis.

This year's 12 lifers welcomed students in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. This year marks the new addition of kindergarten and 1st grade to the Bullis Lower School, and 18 students were welcomed in the acorn ceremony.
