Student Profiles

Anna and Simon ’26

Anna:

I love making friends, and it’s really easy to make friends here. Bullis must only accept nice kids, because everyone is nice here!

My favorite subjects are reading and art, and I also love when our teacher reads to us out loud. Some of my favorite books lately are from The Sisters Club series.

Our teachers are the best. Ms. Strickler is the nicest person and teacher in the world. She makes even math fun! I love how you can get more help from our teachers whenever you need it or want it.

My favorite lunches in the Dining Hall are spaghetti and pizza!

Simon:

My favorite subjects are math and reading. I like chorus, too, and PE is really fun. I really like playing dodgeball and Jump the River. It’s fun here because we get to have PE a lot more than we did at my old school. I can’t wait to play more sports in Middle School. Actually, everything at Bullis is better than at my old school!

We did lots of fun projects in Ms. Cohen’s class. I got to work with my friend Drake to do the research and writing for our entry in the Kids-to-Park Day contest for the National Park Trust. We figured out the cost of the trip and wrote why we wanted to win the contest for another school. And we won!

My favorite lunch is grilled cheese!
