Discover the Future
Today’s students learn most from hands-on classes, experiential activities and opportunities to connect textbooks to the real world. Trial and error, experiments and new media, interviews, research and labwork take their minds to creating—and dreaming—big.
The new Discovery Center is designed to give our students the space, opportunities and tools to dream big, create and be inspired to imagine the possibilities for our future.
So, what do our students dream about today?
Who knows? Maybe some of today’s “superpowers” will be tomorrow’s abilities. And it all starts with creativity. Teachers call on students to use creativity to tackle projects and look at things in new ways. Creativity leads to innovation.
Students are learning to be fearless, because great things come from failure as well as success, and that’s how we move ahead. And when they learn to think and dream, they can apply that creativity to address some of our most challenging questions and problems.
The Discovery Center will be a training ground to tackle an array of questions and challenges, in new labs, workshops, studios and more. It will be filled with the latest and greatest spaces to really explore and learn.
Take a visit into this exciting new building.
The time is now. We plan to break ground this fall, and soon we’ll be watching a Discovery Center rise before our eyes over the next 18 months.
