AP Calculus methodology captured on video

Bullis’ AP Calculus program has received a great deal of publicity this year due to teacher Stacey Roshan’s use of the “backwards classroom” approach. She utilizes software to produce lectures that students view on their computers for homework, so they can spend class time working on problem sets in pairs and with help from Ms. Roshan.

The approach has proven to be successful for all, and AP test scores have risen since Ms. Roshan implemented the new technique. Software company TechSmith produced a video to tell more of the story. View the video.
