Bullis has 25 varsity sports, many of which compete in the Interstate Athletic Conference (boys) or Independent School League (girls) for local area independent schools.

Our teams are highly accomplished, yet Bullis believes that all students—no matter their skill level—should have the opportunity to participate.We believe that teamwork, sportsmanship, school spirit and learning to win and lose gracefully are paramount life skills.

Students take physical education in the Lower School, participate in interscholastic competitive teams in the Middle School, and can play junior varsity or varsity sports in the Upper School. Participation requirements ensure that every student develops skills and appreciation for athletics and nearly every student plays on a team all the way to graduation. With 63 interscholastic teams competing in 14 different sports at Bullis, there is a place for every student.
