South Hall Marriott Family Library Blair Family Center for the Arts North Hall Founders' Hall

 


South Hall

South Hall houses the Lower School (grades three, four and five) and the Middle School (grades six, seven and eight). It has computer labs, classrooms and three science labs. The large playground and the quadrangle outside the building provide ample space for students during recess and break periods.

The Blair Family Center for the Arts has teaching spaces for vocal and instrumental music, theater arts, dance, drawing, painting, photography, sculpture and ceramics. The center has a multimedia computer lab and three multipurpose classrooms. At the heart of the center is a 750-seat theater with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The theater accommodates the entire student body and faculty, and has a flexible design that can be used for both small and large productions.

Marriott Family Library

The Marriott Family Library is a 15,000 square foot on-line digital library that combines the best of a traditional library with access to new technology and information media. It has a 20,000-volume collection of books and periodicals, and houses the school’s technology center. The library also has classrooms, computer labs and designated areas for the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools.

Founders' Hall

Founders’ Hall houses foreign language classrooms, the yearbook office, the dining hall, and the school store. It also houses administrative offices, including Admission, Development, Alumni, Business and the Head of School.

North Hall

North Hall houses the Upper School, grades nine, ten, eleven and twelve. In addition to classrooms, the building has science labs, a student commons and the College Counseling Office. Several of the classrooms are also computer labs. The terrace at the front of the building is a popular outdoor meeting space for the Bullis community.

Athletic Center

The Athletic Center complex includes an athletic center, the Kline Alumni Stadium, seven outdoor and four indoor tennis courts, and seven athletic fields. The athletic center features a 1,000-seat gym, three basketball courts, a wrestling facility, a strength and fitness center and locker rooms. Kline Alumni Stadium seats 2,000 and has an artificial-turf field, an eight-lane, all-weather track and locker rooms. Outdoor facilities include basketball courts, three baseball diamonds, three soccer fields, a field hockey and lacrosse field, a softball diamond and a football practice field.
